We've been going to Disney ever since my daughter was a baby. When we lived in South Carolina it was only a six-hour drive to Orlando, so it was easy to escape for a long weekend and still keep the trip fairly cheap. Now that we live in Idaho, it's at least two plane rides just to get to Florida — but that hasn't stopped us. When we do visit, we make the most of every single moment.
Why we go all in at Disney
We're the type of family who will wake up before sunrise to get to the park for the first breakfast reservation of the day, and stay until after the last fireworks show, straggling behind with the last few people in the park, stopping to buy a balloon on the way out the gate. If we're going to make the trip, we're going to make it count.
